The South Marine Plan areas are becoming increasingly busy with more activities. As a result, co-existence (including co-location) and displacement are issues that have arisen frequently through discussions with stakeholders. Within the Marine Policy Statement there is an expectation to "promote compatibility and reduce conflict" and to "reduce real and potential conflict, maximise compatibility between marine activities and encourage co-existence of multiple uses".

Please use our interactive map to view and combine marine plan policy data.
