Proposals within an area subject to an exploration and option agreement with The Crown Estate should not be supported unless it is demonstrated that the other development or activity is compatible with aggregate extraction or there are exceptional circumstances.
- Proponents may wish to consider consulting with the appropriate decision maker, and The Crown Estate, before making a proposal to determine the location of exploration and option agreements.
- Where proposals are located within an area of exploration and option agreement it may be beneficial for a proponent to assess the compatibility with aggregate extraction.
- A proponent may wish to consider producing a map of the location of the development and its relation to the exploration and option agreement area within a proposal.
